Getting Started

ehh, not sure if this is the place to ask. but please, all those xbox360 experts, help me out. wanting to get one as soon as possible.
How to tell when was the manufactory date, is in on the box itself? or is it stated on the console?
btw, the later the manufactory date model, the better right? it would be less prone to the RROD issues right?
another question, how come when I asked around, some of the shops the Arcade comes with built-in 256mb memory, whilst some others just come with a separate 256mb memory card(not internal)?
please help. thanks in advance.

the best way to find out is too check the volt
Falcon = 14.2v Jasper = 12.2v
so basically the jasper is the better 1...cuz it has less chance of getting rrod...
