'lo everyone,

I'm trying to get hold of a Line 6 Guitar Port. Anyone know where I can get one, or anyone selling them?
If so what the price?

Are there any alternatives I could consider - I just got a guitar and want to put it through my laptop to process.
Ive seen the Behringer Guitar Link, but they seem to have a bad rep - and the reviews dont seem too hot either.

cheers

CK music has them. You just missed their year end sales which gave ridiculous discounts on their gear.

The reviews on the jamlab seem to be pretty vicious - opinion appears to be save up and buy something from line 6...

Yeah - I went down to CK Music on Saturday and ended up with a Toneport GX. They're decent guys in there...

Any recommendations for software? The GX comes with pod farm/ableton live/riffworks but they all seem to be cut down versions.

I'm looking at Guitar Rig for effects, any recommendations for recording? Cubase seems the most popular..
