Oh my god Freedom Fighters.
I just played it till finish for 2nd time like 2 weeks ago.
Good game, great story, great soundtrack.
We really need Freedom Fighters 2 instead of Kane and Lynch, nothing beats freedom to complete a mission.

Edison likes that kind of picture.

Also, she's not Isabel, although Isabel is mentioned in the game... press spoiler if you want to know,

If you clicked on the spoiler and said I spoiled the storyline then you're a fool to click that spoiler.

Whoever asks for game name is stupid enough to not see the first screenshot.

nope, its an indie title from ACE team.
They made game mods before.

I just finished the game, so I say its like 6 hours or below on hard mode.
The combat is fine, punching here and there, but its easy to miss when kicking downed enemy, and 1v5 is quite hard, and health supplies are limited.
There's also ranged weapons and grenade, range weapon helps during tight situation, grenades....I rarely use them.
There's 19 achievements to collect, which some can be hard enough to get, and challenges, which consists of 5 towers, didn't try it yet.
Enemy AI is pretty good, they sprint to you when you're using range weapon, some cases lead them to distract you while their partners get ready to fire on you, and retreats when the partner is ready.
Your partner (Daedra) is meat shield, I only use her to complete an achievement. She rarely fires, and she doesn't kill humanoid enemies, only little ones like crab.

The game looks pretty in some way, and the world is unique.
Glad I bought the game when it was 50% off biggrin.gif

@edison

Cryostasis uses PhysX water physics. So if you on hardware acceleration for physics then its going to lag.
Sadly I don't have any game screenshot to contribute right now.

Dled it at hostel just now.

170FPS on creating Sims, 60~80 FPS at home.
When moving camera to see neighbourhood fast enough it drops to 40~25, for about half a second.
Other than that, no lag (excluding the obvious fast forward time)

Ran on C2D 2.2GHz, 3GB RAM, and GTS250 1GB.

there are cars that you can buy. There's even other vehicles moving on the roads.
If you made your sim "Go To" far away, he'll end up going there by taxi.
You cant really see your sim works. But you can select how do he work, whether to work hard, take it easy, suck up at boss, learn to cook, for example.

I didn't experience weather changes, its sunny all the time, I guess it'll be expansion pack tongue.gif

Resolution at 1440x900.
All sliders to the max.
It doesnt show the numbers, though.

Mmm sounds like I'll have some fun hehehe. As long as I get a good framerate I'm happy. I've spent too much time finding solutions to stuttering.

Noooo... how could they do that to us? Milking the cash cow again sad.gif. Are there mobile phones like in that University pack?

Do the vehicles have Sims in them? As in they stop and Sims get out or they just pass by like in the previous games?

Heh, I want to make a skinny guy with glasses that always sucks up to his boss.
*
Yes there's Sims in the vehicles, but I don't see "going in car" or "getting our from car" animation.
Most of the vehicles only pass by.
Oh but when you call child Sims they went there by bicycle.

The main enemies are Roman Empire.
But among that there's fag elves, and dryads.

The best thing is you can resurrect your dead minions and possibly name them too.

I got nothing to do on Friday.
So I did this instead:

1)Install RE5 Benchmark on 2 PC with different specs.
2)Put all graphics on high, with C16xQ AA, with native resolution (1440x900), and DirectX 10.
3)Benchmark RE5 on all 4 areas.

PC Spec:
PC 1 (My PC)
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @ 2.20 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTS250 1GB
4GM RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate (RC) (32-bit)
GFX Driver: 185.85 WHQL

PC 2 (My brother's PC)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX280 1GB
4GB RAM
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 (32-bit)
GFX Driver: 186.18 WHQL

Result:

2 Screenies from my PC.

I forgot to capture screenies on my brother's PC.

But it doesn't look so bad.
Also Windows 7 made my Prototype plays awsm than Windows Vista.

EDIT , COBotz : didi, u forgot to turn off my v-sync off while running the benchmark. U see it never pass 60 fps

QUOTE(Kidz1995 @ Jul 17 2009, 05:34 PM)
what do u mean by that?
graphic better or perfomance better?
*
Performance is better biggrin.gif

On Windows Vista, when I play Prototype using 185.x driver using the same system, I get FPS ranged from 1~30, whether on High setting, Medium setting, or Low setting.
Updating driver to 186.16 made my Prototype plays better and smoother. (All high, Vsync on, No AA)

On Windows 7 (GFX driver 185.85) I get an even smoother game, averaging from 25~30FPS on streets (didn't manage to get pass 30) and up to 60FPS on skyscrapers. (All high, Vsync on, 2xAA)

Side note: Windows Vista gave my PC a rating of 4.8, while Windows 7 gave my PC a rating of 5.5.
