Not a big Settlers player myself...but I think it is better. Similar to Impression Games city building games without the walkers. A lot of emphasis on trading with other settlements and it has similar developing the housing to higher class when you have better goods..

No they are regular line infantry. I'll take some screens of elite units later.

US Marines(elite unit) with a daring charge. Unit description says they never waver and that they will often fight to their deaths. Myth...they routed. Overwhelming enemy force...no chance of victory.

imho strong contender for the best game ever made.

I have to admit that I have never completed BG2. I'm not even sure I went to spellhold when I first played BG2 wayback. Even so, it still ended up being one of the best game I have ever played(I would say it was the best game ever but that would mean that I ignore my love for RTS's ). I kinda stopped playing when I had to fight a beholder. Downright insane battle. Never got past that.

So I think it will be my mission to complete this game before Dragon Age...

Just got past the part where I was stuck last time I played BG2. Ah the unseeing eye mission. I remember it being frustratingly difficult to defeat beholders. But by the gods how internet has changed things. I know even back in those days the internet was there but they called it the world wide wait for a reason....so long 56k. There is walkthroughs that you can refer too at the click of a button. Getting the right item, like the shield of balduran will make those battles a piece of cake.

Some very difficult decisions. Is it worth it to do the planar sphere quest? I don't need another ranger. Maybe might dump keldorn temporarily to do planar sphere(after i finish the current line of quests with the guild wars thingie)
