katakana is easy.. but you must use it very often

It was a good fighting game for PS1 no doubt about it, but at the same time it's also the worst incarnation of SFZ3 in tech terms. But the extra modes make up for it.

but trying to rmb all the katakana and hiragana might be a lil challenge

i hated the announcer voice for that game, bought it because of all the good scores and it just sat there gathering dust despite being my only fighting game for PSOne.

Yes, I had to learn because I was writing a FAQ of a Japanese games.. self learning. I can only read, not understanding, except for katakana and kanji

I'm quite hyped about HOTD Overkill. But it doesn't feel like it warrants for me to purchase and make it a collection just yet. (Reason: I'm still keeping my capital for a bigger business expansion.)

i can understand some, can read a little only(hiragana)..

you mean you can understand katakana and kanji? kanji quite easy for people who have chinese knowledge
katakana too hard for me to remember(the pronounciation), same goes for kanji. just can understand a bit of kanji

the problem is i'm learning through JDS during night time before i sleep...
so, somehow it will affect my learning since it's bedtime already
