not difficult to create a Adhoc connection on MAC/XP/Vista... Give a try by clicking your MAC book wifi connection. look for Creating new WIFI network. then select Adhoc..... I never use MAC b4.. but normally it is there 1...
If not mistaken iphonemodem is not a true modem software.. It uses proxy... QUOTE(rx330 @ Feb 5 2009, 10:42 AM) |

Basically no need, if u disconnect via USB/WIFI connection. Then, the connection is lost. Or u can also turn it off..Just go to PDANET setting- PDANET off..For EDGE, can't accept incoming call when there is EDGE traffic transfer.. When no packet being send/receive. Then incoming call can get through..

Yes..big different, iphonemodem is a proxy type.Means the app u use must support proxy connection. Not all app today support proxy connection.A good example is VPN client.U can't connect your iPhone VPN tunnel via proxy.PDANET is a true modem software that support all protocols

PDANET is a true or native iphone modem. That support all protocols. & it is not proxy type.
