C1= A1*B1
C2= A2*B2

C1 =231.384
C2 =204.972

C1 and C2 = (column format 2 decimal)

so would be
C1 =231.38
C2 =204.97

the result
---A-----------B------C-----
1)24.880 9.30 231.38
2)22.040 9.30 204.97

Now i add D3=SUM(C1:C2) but i only want sum C1+C2(with 2decimal)
but the result will show D3=436.36 which mean it sum 3rd decimal too,
it should be D3=436.35 , how to do with these?
CODE

I Tried to change this in C1 & C2
C1=CEILING(SUM(A1*B1),0.01)
C2=CEILING(SUM(A2*B2),0.01)
By doing these, if i show to 3 decimal it will be C1=231.390, Yea done.

Now C1=231.39 how to make it become 231.38?
because the 3rd decimal is 0.004 should not bring +1 to front.

i only left this , anyone please help.. thanks
hope you all understand my english = ="

why dunt you right click the cells and select cell format. choose numbers and select the decimal from there?
in fact all acounting sheets will have to work on 2 decimals and fancy formulas will lead to error.

You can use the function ROUND.

Try C1=ROUND(A1*B1,2)

yeah, the exact function is round, not ceiling.
if its 293.453; ceiling will be 293.46(sad.gif) but round will make it 293.45 (smile.gif)..
the beatlesalbum's way i think is also easier, and more user-friendly.
