Hi people of OCU...
I need some help here...
i juz bought an MC-TDX for my i7...
i m using i7-920...running at 3.2 ONLY...
but my idle temp is high...
as high as the stock cooler...

i need some help...as i m sure the MC-TDX can do better than that...
is there any anomalies that i shud check?

btw i m using MC-TDX, Laing D4, 2 x 120 rad, artic silver 5

my idle temp is anrd 44
and load is 70+...

please advice....

Hmmm..........Is there any obvious trapped air bubble?That will affect temperature as well.

does too much thermal paste affectst he temp too?

any guide on how much to put on an i7?

bcoz all i know is i got this block from factory and it's all new...
so yeah...care to explain a bit?

Bad mounting is like the surface of the block with IHS isn't perfectly contacted.
