hi , i just finished my o-levels and im waiting for my results .

I'm playing to take aircraft engineering but i'm not sure which is a better way
I have two options ,

1- Get my DCAM license with type rating at APR aviation training center(4 years program)
2- Get my diploma and degree in UniKL-MIAT , meanwhile i can do my DCAM license at there. (8 years program )

I personally feel that I should go for APR since it is more professional i can say ? But one thing I'm not sure , is diploma and degree an advantage to us ? is it needed for us to become a more successful LAE ? or is it just a waste of time and money since the most important thing to become LAE is the license .

I'm confused , I need help here

I guess everywhere is the same now, many young graduates couldn't get a proper job .
But I find this aircraft engineering the most interesting and challenging out of all the engineering courses , love aircraft since young , so should be a right choice for me thumbup.gif

Think twice bro, it is not as easy as you think, I had the same thought like you, after finishing my Easa part 147 training only realized this field need a lot of hard work & dedication.. degree isn't really an option if you wanna pursue your LAE dream, I wasted my 4 years just only getting a degree lolz, go for TAME program

One last question , is there a need for me to pursue a Diploma if I want to become a LAE ? I just couldn't find an answer why should I pursue a Diploma .
