1. Where should I take up my Diploma/Degree? MIAT, NILAI, MSU, TAFE ?
1.5- Do you guys know of the scholarship programs if any offered by the above institutions?

2. When do MAS and/or AirAsia usually have their TAME program?

3. Before I get LWTR, I have to work ? which means Technician? How much can I expect in terms of pay as a Aircraft mechanic ?

4. Which would have higher demand? Avionics or Mechanical?

5. LWTR is issued by DCA ? and Type Rating by the Company I work for?

6. Can I expect to earn like around Rm7k in Today's money after 5 years of getting my LWTR ?

You only need the license to be a LAME, which you'll have to obtain from the local Aviation Agency,
You can be a primary school dropout and still be a LAME if you have the license

if im not mistaken, that lwtr is only applicable for bcar..nowadays,like DCA malaysia already adapt the easa part 66..so,no more lwtr..get your work schedule to satisfy the min requirements, then only u will get the license.

You're saying Malaysia's using EASA now?
and we can get our license without LWTR, just work with planes then take Exam ?

As they've stated before, even a kindergarten dropout can be a LAME as long as they have the license.
Having a Degree in it doesn't mean anything, though some institutions can help you get it

I'm looking for high-paying, low-stress job in MALAYSIA :B i want to enjoy my life like marine is highly paid paid but they hv to be on the sea like 6 month right? like no life tongue.gif plus im wearing glassses, rabun jauh haha (is it really matter?cause i'll be instructing right? like other engineers do biggrin.gif)please guide me the best path/program plus i also worried of 'how much i hv to pay for the studies' :/

Mech, more stress, but more employment, but lower pay
Civil......plenty of jobs......until tiba tiba no Projek
LAME....pretty hard to find job, unless via MAS or AirAsia TAME program.
Aeronautical engineer, even harder to find work than LAME, cause you're designing not maintaining, overall better life though.
Computer Software Engineer - Market flooded with IT grads, but IT field still expanding

You're gonna have to be pretty good in learning though if you're taking Engi,
Engineering Math is much harder than Add Math from High school
