Added on September 28, 2009, 11:22 pmI got a question.

Why MPI for deep penetrant we must use DC current? Because of low frequency of the DC current?

Here is another intake for MAS Cabin Crew. Click Here

hye guys.. i might have overlooked thru the topic's posts but cant seem to find what im looking for..

currently im holding an LWTR category C license and i've heard few years back, theres people telling that i can further my studies straight to the Master level as this lwtr is equivalent to Degree... at least thats what i heard..

what makes me wonder is, which University?

if anyone can confirm this i would really appreciate it.. tq

Its a general requirement that if you have worked for (at least) 5 years and/or in supervisory capacity, you can do your masters. There may be an entrance exam depending on that particular learning institution policy.
An LWTR with a type rating is considered a degree with honours, NOT LWTR alone.

I didn't know there's actually a minimum height requirement.

Tho the short (and small) ones will be the most likely candidates to be sent into the fuel tanks. lol

from my point of view, entering nilai would be better as it is more secured to become lae,
as for tjt you have to do everything yourself and there is a tendency for u to stop studying halfway
but technically, if you start from tjt, you'll get more experience to become an lae

called them up or consult them
ask everything about the program

Why you didn't ask the MH interviewer what you actually want to be and which is the best route for you to become LAME? Thru TJT or entering Nilai etc?

There are several ways from JT to LAE. I just show what I know.
First is do it yourself. If you are hangar JT than collect work schedule and go for BCAR or EASA. BCAR i now sure i think is 3 years but Easa is 5 years.(experience) because MAS/AA not part 147.
If you are workshop JT, that you must give away everything, OT, time, life for that 5 years. After normal working hours, dont go for OT, go to hangar and OJT collect work schedule. Do it 5 years until you get your license. Haha

Second is join development program. But very long ago MAS got, but now like don't have anymore. Maybe did't open. lol

That what I know. Maybe there is another way I do not know lol

You need to work on your english first.

I think one with a good basic understanding of English can already start on the aircraft maintenance journey. It can (and has to) be further improved along the way, of course.

Eventho it is not necessary for maintenance personnel to meet the Operational Level 4 of ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements but still, a good command of English is very important.

Hye Guys~ its good to have a discussion about this matters among us.

I am currently studying in APR after I had my degree in Aerospace Eng. I still need a year & a half to complete my training and that will be including for the exam preparation.

APR already had an approval from DCA as a training school; I estimate that DCA will be fully convert to EASA in 2011 (just my opinion) smile.gif

Again, nice to know all of you. Quote me if im wrong.
