In the list from the 1st thread, is it saying that ipod touch 2g has 2 types on windows software jailbreaking?1st is quick freedom,2nd one is redsn0w?which one better to make it?firmware 2.2.1 can be jailbreak and onwards firmware also can be JB-able d rite?

I've jailbreak my iPod touch 2g. Now problem occur.I can't install anything including the upgrades.it keeps on POSIX: connection time out.why?

arghh... too bad i've tried that....but still the same...my problem is under cydia,when i wana install application,or upgrade cydia (when 1st started 3 recommended update) kenot be done, and POSIX error occured.... sob

I've been using my ipod touch 2g 16bg quite frequent lately... as i've notice, the battery life spending as it saids could last over about 4hours and it's better than 1g...but i've notice one thing, if i play any games non stop about 1 hour 45minutes, the it notice me battery low under 20%... and if keep on playing, it would end on 10% for the next 15minutes... and close up after a few 15 seconds.... any problem with u guys same as mine? i've google it and i found out alot oversea owner have the same issue.... im wondering is it my JB problem making it dry faster or what.... before JB i also have this battery life problem, but i dunno cause i didnt notice how long i play...but quite fast....i need to charge my ipod everyday that makes the long travel distance lack of fun when there's no battery already...so i just cant do anything if i dont have a charger or a plug to put one...im using the usb hub to charge my ipod currently...i dont think its a problem... please, i need to know so i can redeem it before the warranty i guess...

arghhh....2 hours battery life makes it half of the promises from apple... sigh

Hi guys, currently still thinking should i upgrade my firmware to 3.0 and use it with redsnOw, heard of it some guys said its laggy and not so good compare to 2.2.1. I need to upgrade itunes to 8.2 version right?

yea,i understand, i've jb before and current version 2.2.1. just wondering i need 8.2v itunes rite?i know its 8, i just wan more specific.i need to reset my ipod 1st and upgrade to firmware 3.0 1st rite? beside, i've found out theres a trial version for firmware 3.0, is that true or illegal before i post here? its not on apple store, but i saw they claim its trial version on a tech forum.its 257.79mb, name ipod 2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw. correct me if im heading to illegal part again =.= i truely saw a trial version free notice down there only i post, moderator can get the link if u wana make sure im not lying.i get 3 warnings d, and i dont wana get caught again.
