Report about OS 3.0... i feel that its a bit more laggy then 2.2.1... when every i scroll through them apps, it has a slight laggy look to it...

after i jailbreak it , it can turn on after i power off it any1 can help ?

redsn0w 0.7.2 update is just for new jailbreakers. No need to run it again if it 0.7/0.7.1 was OK for you.

I think overall 3.0 is a bit sluggish. Reboot seems to take ages, respring seem to take months. I don't know whether it's worth the benefits that we get, but I guess we have to live with it for now....

Does the latest version of redsnow work for jailbreaking the 2.2.1 firmware?

No, only for 3.0

Read the first post. Newest version is 0.7.2

What happen to this one? I have try it.. but fail..
Or its because of my comp OS is windows XP and the red snow 0.72 is only for Vista?

What the different between red snow 0.7 and 0.72...

i have this file: iPod2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

and then i have finished update my ipod to OS 3.0

but i'm fail between step six and step seven...

a pop up appear ..... "connecting to server"

after that, its lost and the jailbreak was stop...

took awhile to dload but alhamdulillah.. successfully upgraded n jailbroken 3.0 (thanks for all the tutorials guys) now back to work, or else boss notice..

hmm just wondering.. is there a thread to discuss what/which bluetooth devices are compatible with the new 3.0 OS? from what i've read, currently only bluetooth headsets are connectable but not phones/laptops/etc for the ipod touch.. is this true?

hmm if jb to 3.0 os....how is the old apps with no 3.0 support yet? can they be use? and it seems like this time jb is different with 2.2.1 method...which are update 1st only jb them...means official then only to jbed?

i cant seem to find OS 3.0 in apple store malaysia....how do i buy it now?

Anyway got the bluetooth to work with my SE bluetooth handsfree after upgrading to 3.0... But I wonder why Apple never enable the bluetooth in 2.2.1 since there is a bluetooth chip in the iPod Touch?

perhaps the previous 2.2.1 firmware wasnt stable enough to handle bluetooth operations..

I mean, when someone goes around saying "Dude, OS3 has bluetooth!" I'm sure most of us will go frenzy, and we would immediately buy the OS which is pretty good for Apple. This may not be true at all, as it's just my humble opinion
