anyone can teach me how 2 jb the itouch 2G in the beginning?

First, download Quickfreedom 1.2 or Redtool 1.0 if you are using windows or untetherizer if you are using a mac.

Then, follow the instruction inside

done jaibreaking qpawn method to 2 ipod touch 1st gen several times.......
mine restored 3 times jb today only 3 times oledy... 2 times stuck at start up....
now testing charm fourth time jb use newest qpawn
nice working b4 today only dunno y....

oh.. which firmware did u use?

i just went to switch at penang,and claim warranty for my ipod.n they saw a pink indicator(it will turn pink if it hits water) in the audio jack port,meaning im being suspect in soaking my ipod to get warranty.when apple see it,my warranty wont be valid,although the problem arise have nothing to do with water or any sort of it.so the staff say she will try to talk to apple bout it.seriously,in my opinion,the indicator is rather ineffective in securing the probability of people cheat in claiming warranty.i mean,the indicator can hit water in many cases,my sweat,my sweat on the audio jack of my earphone n it hit it when i plug the audio jack in,and invisible shield's spray which i need to apply when putting it on.n others.i mean,i kinda like a victim of the sensitiveness of the indicator.it may have turn pink like months ago,maybe on the 3rd day i bought the ipod.my ipod fault because it cannot turn on,got nothing to do with water.anyway,all i can do is pray....just wanna share with u all.take care ur audio jack port.

haha.. my screen oso turn a bit pinky.. oso dunno what happened..
i notice that when i wipe the screen many times.. for clearing fingerprint purpose.. and i dont think my ipod got any contact with liquid.. so did ur ipod problem covered? maybe it will happen to me.. who knows.. just curious

i dont know,they will inform me this Monday.its not the screen,its inside the audio jack,the hole where u plug in earphone,u can really see it,but there,inside got indicated,maybe moist indicator,like litmus paper,which change to pink when hit water

oh.. i see.. i though the screen.. hmm..
hope ur ipod covered la.. afraid same thing happened to me..

wow, thats bunk. My audio jack has not been in contact with any sort of moisture as far as i can remember, but i'm sure a few drops of sweat came in contact with my screen a few times.

Need advice on using QuickFreedom.

Been trying to JB for days but each time i tried it kept popping out error in creating firmware file and it stuck at that. the log as per below

Which version of quickfreedom u using?

ver 1.2.0

now i managed to get the custom firmware.

but when restoring... it popped out unknown error 1604, firmware can't be restored.

did you do the pre jailbreak step? Coz many ppl forgot to do.

update... still cant work... now it shows error 13... my ipod stuck at the boot logo...

I'm now trying to restore using the ori firmware...

Update...

After restoring to ori firmware... follow from the start the whole Quick freedom process, but this time without the custom logo ticked... Successfully JB the Ipod... whew

Still, its quite baffling still why it happened the why it happened...

I'm happy anyways... thx for the guide!

jail break is much easier then i expected...
but d problem is.....
why i dun c any different geh?
i use d red tool to jail break...
then i oso got used d quick freedom..
but then...d computer using quickfreedom say i jail break d...
so.....
how now?

ok... if something happened to my ipod touch v 2.0 after jail break... how about my warranty? how to solve it?
