hi.just wanna ask,to confirmize actually..i actually gonna use quickfreedom to change my bootlogo.n i read it says it wont erase anything.so wanna ask,is it really "anything"?.i mean not even one of my stuff,songs,or apps,or cydia apps will be deleted?thx

I'm not sure too. But i think we would not need to fully restore our units so our apps etc would still be there. It'll be better to just wait for bryanyeo's answer

I didn't install icy, mainly because it's not capable of providing users with a preview of the app they're about to download. I preview nearly every app before i download it. So yea, but it definitely looks sleeker.

Hi guys need help here.
I fwas using QuickFreedom 1.2 on Ipod TOuch 2G
successfully restore Custom Firmware.ipsw
iTunes tell me it has been restored and that it is now restarting
Then itunes show me error
"itunes could not connect to the iphone ~~ because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000001)"

i try to restore on another computer now
HOwever all my previous data is gone (as it resides on my another PC)
But most importantly after i jailbreak i cant connect to the internet
even though i shows im connected to my wifi
Any idea?

elfreakz, using winterboard, yes you can. Just check the theme if you want it, and uncheck it if you don't want it.

Oh yea, there is a thread just for WinterBoard and customization (iPhone section), it would be best to ask these sort of questions in there instead of in here.

Try connect to usb, and on your ipod touch. If cant, hold home and power for few seconds. Coz sometimes ipod touch will hang in standby mode(even virgin ipod touch too)

i connect the usb,it didnt charge up like it use to.and the pc didnt detect it..i try hold the power n home but didnt have any effect.how long do i need to hold it?Actually this happen because somehow it auto lock itself and auto pop up the "slide to close" screen.i was trying to delete some of cydia apps thinking it might be the case.but then it shut donw,black,blank screen until now.i should have dfu it earlier.can i dfu it without turning it on?

Try holding both the home and power button until the backlight turns up. It's worth a try

nope.. depend on what kind of internet u use la.. for me if i download cydia app thru celcombb, error will appear.. but if i go to starbuck or oldtown n use their wifi.. all going smooth..

Cydia and the AppStore goes pretty smooth for me. I'm on WiMax.
