I've decided to buy a digital piano instead or 'piano', mostly because of space problem. i wanted something compact, but my electronic keyboard keys and sounds doesn't give me the satisfaction.
When i went searching around for YAMAHA digital piano, there are so many different variety from 2k to 5k. I wonder what's the big difference. I don't actually use those special features available as i only like the sound of piano, not bass or strings n etc....
Any advise?
I doesn't want to buy a 5k digital piano end up wasting all the features because i'm not utilizing it. And also not buying a 2k one and then regret about it also... Totally in dilemma.

if not mistaken, the most recommended cheap digital piano is the yamaha P-70, around RM2.5k.

P60,70,85 is 99% identical they will give you good yamaha quality, good piano sounds, and a bit lighter touch than P140.
I will still recommend Korg SP250 as their pricing in Malaysia is very very good. SP250 is US$899 retail, but selling around RM2800 or lower in KL. SP250's touch is heavier.

And don't worry if you can't tell the difference, I haven't heard of a bad Yamaha piano.. yet =P Sometimes it's just how you 'click' with your piano, if you feel comfortable playing it and you like how it sounds then that's usually a good sign.
