yaya chris, we must meet 1 day liao..... brendi still on jab....

i still feel dat the vet brendi was brought to is a bit funny.....wat does the vet mean by the pup will die if given 10 in 1? the vet said a rottie died it seems after getting dat jab. i guess no owner will give their pup such a basic jab, only pet shop does....now brendi's owner is very confused....cz i recommend her to get 10 in 1 jab but i said better go 4 another vet for second opinion before u start all over again.

Hmmm...not sure of his meaning though. But i did come across a breeder that refused to give her pup the 1st jab even after reaching 10 weeks?? She said the pup size is too small - if jab now it will die.

Actually the 5-1,6-1,7-1 are all the same. It depends how an individual count the number of virus listed.

Nowadays there is a better vaccine from US. I cant really recall how it works coz i have short term memory. The vet says it is recommended for very young pups coz it is supposed to offer better protection for them. It has only 1 standard type - so no chance to argue how many in 1 u want to give ur pup. Jasmine went for this and she suffered quite a bad effect from it. She lao sai for 2 days but after medication ok liao.

However, u must start on this new vaccine from 1st to last. Cant mix with the old one.

vava need some help here~
vava got spayed on friday.....and the vet found out vava's usus is not usual....her usus all stick together.....which she not suppose to be tat way....
vet said maybe caused by the virus she gt when puppyhood.....now vava is healthy but afraid she might hv digestive problem in the future....
so the vet recommend me to gv vava those dog food formulated for sensitive stomach and some pro-biotics as prevention is better than cure...

does any1 here know what brand of dog food is good for sensitive stomach???

Milo is on grain-free Venison from Addiction. Milo;s stomach oso on the sensitive side. I know Eukanuba has a special-formulated kibbles for sensitive stomach but the brand itself is doubtful liao. Pro-biotics can be gotten from vet? Jasmine took some pre & pro-biotics to protect her stomach when she lao sai.

ohh....now only i know milo stomach also sensitive.....grain-free Venison from Addiction is formulated for sensitive stomach?
i got gv vava eat this grain-free Venison from Addiction b4....but after few days she don't want to eat dy.....headache betul with her picky attitude...
the vet told me vava need to eat those high digestible dog food...ya.....pro-biotic can be found at vet's place...
but the vet told me many dogs dislike to eat those in powdery form as the vet himself sell those in powdery form....
he said i can try to find out at other shop that gt sell in tablets form...u got any idea where i can gt it?
he even said that the baby pro-biotics (in syrup form) also can be given to vava....

Jasmine took those in syrup - just use the syringe and pump it in. Vet said dogs n cats usually dont like to take them but Jasmine took it like ice-cream.

Vava picky ah? Hmmm...Addiction range all quite bland de. The one that has the strongest smell is Salmon coz it's fishyyyyyyy.

brendi taken the 2nd jap on 4th march...its 6 in 1...kmm told me that its too basic..
so now im considering to retake the vaccine again...

If retake, does it consider the 2nd or 3rd jab? Usually if our pups took their 1st vaccine before 6 wks, then we will give them a 4th jab coz the 1st one is consider invalid.

Which vet r u currently seeing?

Added on March 15, 2009, 11:39 pmNo wo...the groomer said she din cry oso when kena cut. But she did cry a bit when i apply medication on her. Other than that, she is as active as ever. She used her foot to scratch the wound.

its ok lah. u can take 9 in 1 during his 3rd jab. doesnt matter as brendi still canot go out yet. but 3rd jab onwards i recommend9in 1 or 10 in 1 loh.
