how well does a poodles quality relate to its price?
iknow pets shops animals usually jacked up the price
but sometimes at breeders u can see poodles ranging from 500 to 2000 without cert
sometimes see a poodle selling for 2k, then another selling for 800, both looks same same one
so misleading

Many factors...i think it all boils down to how much a seller wants to make.

There r homebred poodles sold cheaply (less than 500) to petshops which in turn sell them for min 1k - like Wow2 Meow2

All the while i thot rm500 poodles r like those from Thailand - ard 4-5 mths, unpopular colours and poor coat & looks (thai breeder in Subang)
until i found out recently that even locally bred poodles can be at this price if only u know the seller well (from Ipoh)

And some agents/breeders fixed the prices at above rm1200 based on popular/rare colours and size (small)

And for some really innocent homebreeders who r not sure of what each colour could do to its price can sell black poodles for rm700 when by right, it shud fetch above 1k.

And lastly, there IS one homebreeder who simply put a price to her poodles coz i once asked her why r her poodles sold at such low price. She raised from rm600 - rm950 for such poor quality pups in her subsequent litters.

So there goes all the variety in prices.

brandy very easy bomoh -.- as long got food already can
but recently, after her homeboarding session at a friends place, she change appetite
she dun like all food, i try innova, california natural, holistic select, ALL she dun like
the only food she like to eat is fruits. apples oranges pears guava jackfruit plum all she like. (do tell me if dog cannot eat any of tis fruit)
my friends laugh at brandy say she is fruit-dog.

can cos i want to see whether maltese is a potential pet for me or not

thats why its confusing, sometimes u see the poodle so cheap til dont dare buy
sometimes soo expensive but u dont know whether worth or not cos dunno how it look like when adult
i guess only thing can do i look at the parents of the dog. but not many places can find breeders that allow u meet the parents.

talking bout poddle... I do notice that some home breeder who really claim themself homebred wil surely give very cheap price for their poodle.. cuz all the want is the dog can have love n care from new owner.. so the cost is just to cover some of the expense they have used for the pup or the breeding stuff... but those who sell off their pups in higher price maybe think the dog is worth for that price such as huey mentioned about, some poddle will be in higher price because of the color.

Sinv, no la..wont be getting maltese YET...lol...wont have maltepoo la...very kelian de if i just waste one time of delivery in any of my gals just to have a mixed breed. I believe they go thru very diff process of pregnancy n delivery.

Delonely so scared u will ask him to dress like a poodle again...kakakaka
