What makes this version different from SecondToday or ManillaControl?
Well, my app is actually very similar to MastSogo's ManilaControl. The main difference is that I plan to actively develop it now for a while, whereas ManilaControl has been a bit frozen in development for a few months. Mine is also open source, licensed under the Ms-RL. Mine is on CodePlex, so download speeds should be much better than the average rapidshare link. Finally, mine is in English and not Spanish. :-) Other than that, it's just another solution for the same problem!

Teksoft created this simple freeware application for Windows Mobile devices, that basically is a bot that tries to have a conversation with you. The software is obviously a woman (Eve maybe?) and offers mostly blessings and wise words so don’t expect to have a meaningful chat.

You have to be careful though, with what you say to her, since the application is based on Teksoft’s STEB Engine so it can learn new words in any language from the user. You wouldn’t like to have a friend that constantly swears, would you?

HTC has just release a new official rom update for TP !

Improved Functions and Fixes

1. The display of TouchFLO 3D sometimes may appear cracked.

2. When taking a picture, the auto focus function may malfunction in some circumstances.

3. In some circumstances, the preview screen will become black after taking picture.

4. In some circumstances, the device may hang while loading TouchFLO 3D.

5. When hanging up a phone call, there may be a delay in the display response.

just press the SYM key and this screen will pop out....i haven't experience any difficulties so far....

could be your setting.....mine is working fine...

btw, which core player version were you using? and which compression of file are you watching...avi? i could due to the video conversion tho....

shouldn't be any problem....i was previously using that version too [ now using v.1.3.0 build 6213 ]

perhaps you MUST try this and i can guarantee can solve your problem immediately....

fire up the core player, go to > menu > tools > preferences > select page > video > video output > select raw framebuffer / direct draw

buy me drinks ya if this help you out...LOL....[ joking....]

i'm having both in my TP ....but most of the time i'm using core player

if you follow the history behind, tcpmp [freeware] is/was coreplayer, but that was during the beta development stage and once the product became v1.0 it turned into CorePlayer, so it stopped being freeware.

both have their pro and cons, it just a matter how you fully utilize their advantages...

first thing first, after having read all your previous post regarding TP i realize that you'd encounter quite a number of issue with your TP e.g sync issue, wifi, keyboard sip etc etc....

let me say this - PDA Expert in a way 'messed up' your TP by installing tons of 'rubbish' to your TP....LOL, why? recently i just 'rescued' both my friend's TP and Diamond whom they bought from PDA Expert too! their devices are fully loaded with tons and tons of rubbish inside! both also having few issue like yours and the worst things is that it really sloooooow down the device...

i would strongly advise you to perform a hard reset and reinstall only the necessary software / application which you really needs [ you can always go back to PDA Expert to ask for the specific software you needed - if you really couldn't manage to source it out yourself ]

no harm could be done to your TP, and from there you'll pick up things fast just like us here....

another good news coming soon for LYN's TP user !

anyone having issue with GPS issue?....headache to choose which video conversion software to use for optimal video playback?...which setting is the best for videp playback on TP/Diamond? etc etc...worry not now !

ok, i personally managed to solved 2 very important things last night....[ upon request from my Diamond and TP's user friends ]

1. very very smooooth video playback using core player !
- no conversion needed from the downloaded movie from internet
- simply download your favourite movie from internet / rip directly from CD/DVD > transfer to TP > and just watch it directly !
- u need to add me to your Live Messenger [which i'll give via pm] as i need to transfer the necessary file and provide step by step guide....

2. fast and stable GPS lock on tweak !
- blazing fast GPS lock on
- stable GPS connection
- i'll package it in a .cab file later for easy installation

both tweaks are only made exclusively for LYN ! [ by request only ]

you'll won't be able to find it anywhere in the internet not even in XDA as it's my own tweak !

Release Date:
1st March 2009 or perhaps shall i release it during our TP TT session? [if there's any...LOL]

nope...have not come across this issue before...

if you're using ActiveSync, try this solutions:

use any registry editor, go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services and change the DWORD value of AllowLSP to 0 [decimal], and soft reset

if there's no AllowLSP DWORD, simply create a new DWORD for this, apply the value and soft reset.
