What with all the PS3 models that is available in the market right now, few questions come to mind that seems not addressed that i think should be pinned or added to the FAQs:

1. you buy malaysia model, you did not register online within the 30 day purchase period, can you still claim FREE warranty/service within the 1 year period?
2. you buy malaysia model, it's over 1 year already, theoretically can send to local sony service center for repairs but you will be charged correct?
3. you buy other region models, there is definitely no FREE warranty/service from local sony service center BUT, can they still do the repairs for a price?
4. any other better advises for when there is problem with a non-local set?
