I was wondering whether if I could plug my Ps3 console to my Macbook's monitor using the splitters that you mentioned . That works for single monitor but what about laptop monitor ?

QUOTE(vorchiel @ Jul 19 2009, 01:27 PM) notebooks display port can only output signals, not for receiving external inputs. so no you cant do it out-of-the-box, unless if you use another additional device (tv card / capture card) connected to usb port or expresscard/pcmcia/whatever port So If I use an additional device , TV / Capture card . Then I can use the method that you explained using the Y Splitter to play my Ps3 ? Is this recommended or I'm better off getting a cheap monitor ? TV Turner cards as in these ? TV CARDS

QUOTE(amduser @ Jul 20 2009, 12:12 AM) then why dont just use monitor?? monitor between 21" to 24" should be able to fit your room right?? Just normal PC monitor you mean ? IF I'm not mistaken , The monitor has their own power source cable , Then I gotta use what vorchiel had stated at the first pages ... Use the Y Splitter and stuffs and external speaker.
