it is an agreed consensus that 720p is better than 1080i
untick 720p in the ps3 display settings. if that game doesnt support both 1080i or 720p, have fun with your 480p

I see... ok I checked with the DiGi people on this. There is some router with usb modem support can be used. I think a router for connection sharing is better. Looking forward to 3G DiGi. Thanks

Yeah correction its 2500kbps, Well thats the result from speedtest.net. I test it from DiGi HQ, 2500+mbps. Currently the highest speed they offer is 2mbps. if that is the case it will be good for PS3 online eh

I got an offer for a SGP PS3 system with the new wireless Dual Shock Controller + Assasin Creed for RM1500... its the 80GB version with black finish.
Is this a good buy?
1) I have LCD 1080P Setup ready 2) I have 5.1 DTS HTS Setup ready 3) I normally watch HDMI DVD content but always gets a smaller viewing when I output from my HDMI to LCD at 1080P mode
Will BluRay content filled up my whole 40" LCD with 1080P mode and Sony 1.3A HDIMI cable?
Will the Game screen fillled up my LCD screen ?
Thanks
Dominic

1.5k, a bit expensive if it's a used system. well, u may search at garage sales to look for price comparison. and playing dvd will get full screen. just set it to fullscreen.

Sorry if I didnt mention its a new system.
Thanks for your infor but I dont really understand what u mean by setting it to full screen? Maybe I will be more clearer once I collect my console tomorrow and boot up the thing.
I do know my Sony 40W has Full, Wide and Wide Zoom settings for display from HDMI source.
Are you actually referring to the settings at the configuration section in the PS3 user screens ?
by the way.. found a Sliver colored set for RM1350 instead of the black set mentioned earlier.
last question, do I need to register at Sony SG website to get proper authorization of the warranty? I sometimes travel to SG for trips 4 to 5 times a year... so maybe will do the warranty claim by own self when shitz happends.
Thanks again

Thanks again yes.. just register online. if u're regular at singapore, then no worries getting a SG set since it is cheaper a lot. erm.. the setting is at ps3.. i think u may try with ur dvd player also, or ur tv.

Hope someone can help me with this....
i just got PS3 yesterday and want to use it with Dell S2409W. I am aware of the audio fade-in/fade-out problem and was so annoyed by it, so i decided to direct connect both audio feeds into my 2.1 speaker via a y-splitter adapter as recommended by the FAQ on this thread.
Problem is when I insert both audio inputs (1 from PC and 1 from PS3) into the splitter, the sound volume of both inputs is greatly reduced. The sound will be loud as long as I: 1.) remove one cable from the y splitter 2.) disconnect the audio cable from either the devices assuming both devices are turned on
Is this normal? Is something wrong with my setup?
