Just a noob question. This YLOD problem, does it also affect the newer models of 80gb / 160gb currently selling? Any reported case?

hi all.,... i have a problem with my ps3 here. i cannot see display on my lcd. but the sounds are ok, means that the console is working. i wander what's the problem is.

Your PS3 is in another input rather than in HDMI(I assume you are connected using HDMI).Simply reset your PS3 to its default video settings by holding down the power button for 5 seconds. |

Logitech is cheaper I think, unless you buy one of the wireless ones.
My cousin used my Logitech controller (the one that looks like a Dual Shock) while I borrowed his controller for the SFIV tournament. He said it worked. |

the only thing is it is lack of PS button. that's all.. and sixaxis function. if u want to use it as a second controller.. it's ok.

i have a question. how come after a while the GAM CASING top left ( near the joint always get parted slighty and ended with a small slit where the dust can enter the casing?
is it due to heat? or weight place on the case? because normally i left the controller on the game case overnight is this responsible to the CASING dmg/defect? |

hey my bro in law rented uncharted. but when i play it. it makes a loud noise on my ps3. like the disc drive is working extra hard.
anyone experience this? is this something i should worry about? the disc is in good condition. no scratches |

uncharted is one of the games that fully utilised texture streaming from bd drive (hence no installation/long initial loading )
it will definitely stress out the bd drive. clean the disc if you want to lighten the burden of the bd drive |
