Orite, SSJBen, does using the external hdd help reduces / minimizes the heat problem in our PS3? I mean we all know that HDD in running mode emit a lot of heat and since its located in the small compartment, (looks like darn congested one!) more or less contributes to the heating of other components in the unit.

Seriously, my wife's lappy (IBM) is darn hot, esp. the HDD area.. sometimes got  sound like something crawling inside (the sound of the HDD). I think when I feel like upgrading the PS3 HDD I will try SSJBen's suggestion. 

Can 1 PS3 use 2 different PSN ids?

RM160 is the same price Sony Style is selling if I am not mistaken. Try to confirm, buy from Sony Style can get local sony malaysia warranty...

Need some advice here.

I have always used my console for reading Blu-Ray movies and Blu-Ray games. Just yesterday I thought I could see some vacation photos on my HDTV with the photos that I burnt to a DVD (Imation brand). The way I prepared the disc was, put the disc into my computer, right-click on it, select format and when done, drag all the photo folders into the disc drive and it will begin to copy them.

When it was done, I put it on my console and selected Photos from the menu. However, only the 'first folder' of the photos was able to open. The rest it stated "Data corrupted" or something. Its odd, its a brand new DVD with (if I can recall) very superficial scratches (almost none). I am not too sure if the PS3 scratched the disc because when I removed the disc, I saw "circular" scratches - - scratches that don't occur when the disc is dropped, etc.. After that I continued watching Blu-Ray movies with no issues at all.

I am not entirely sure what is the proper way to view Photo DVDs on the console. Will try another Photo DVD soon.

why razer cant use it?? you mean those driver and profile function?

now i only notice that my DS3 L3 and R3 button have serious wear and tear, L3 more serious than R3

because i thought you are talking about the profile button instead of the supported games, and there are people who really willing to fork out that much money for a mouse, after all a higher DPI mouse is better for larger screen

I want to ask
Can I connect ps3 sound via optical out to PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium optical in n output to my computer 2.1 speaker?
Anyone using this kind of connection and is it workable?
I don't want to regret after I bought the soundcard if cannot work.

sometimes you just have to remux into mp4 container, no need to re-encode. thus, no loss of quality.
