well other than dethroning the monopoly streamyx. TM could install a cap. so they let you get full speed but once they cap you then it brings you to half your speed. not a very good option but its better than throttling. at least can surf youtube right? hahaha. hopefully something will happen. wimax is good but it would be easier to have a wired service.

before the new patch, when i plugged my external hard disk into my ps3, they can detect videos pictures and music..

but after the new patch cannot detect edi..

i havent been using usb media to play music/video/photo for a long time already. only use it to updet. so i cant comment on that (right now)

Left my PS3 on for 2nights + downloading demos... nothing wrong... maybe coz I added a usb fan at the back of my PS3 and my room is cool with fan.. make sure u place ur PS3 in a well open area.

my usb storage is fine... ps3 can detect all medias...

my internet is fine during off peaks. past 12 midnight. but peak hours are f'ed up
i also use imb line. i get 386bytes/s =.= i'm from seksyen 9. u? shah alam can support 4mb ah?

my place i only can get 60.5x or 60.4x

after 10-20 times of restart then only can get 124.x
if i restart, will get 60.x again

normally quite fast downloading from psn (maxed out my connection)

try to get better ip..if download for pc..crack your vista/xp..
for ps3...just get a good ip will do...

well if you pay for a static IP. for sure you will get fast inet. and yes you will be given priority but its really expensive. if you got the money then go for it. hehehe.

if you looking for video...

go to video list in XMB. go to ex. hdd or whatever its called. and press triangle i think.. or maybe square. and an option to display all will show up.
