just went for the interview ...so far so good ..but not sure if they accept my 10k salary ..haha

the technical test is ok , except for Windows which i never had any experience before .

if they accept me with the salary i ask for , then i will go .

Else , i will pursue my master later this year , and retry again :-)

what is your current salary. Which post did you apply for. I think Experian is not really generous with their salary from what my friend say.

ok. that would be fine for me then :-)

post : Linux sysadmin

Could you elaborate? Thanks.

for 1st job interview which happened on May 2014 , i went thru 3 interviews . and i succeed.

everything is good , including the exam is passed ..except the basepay , because it didnt up to what i expect 10% increment.

then i ask them whether i can go for 10% increment . the reason i ask for the increment is because i have to travel from KL to Cyberjaya for work .

after that they asked for 4th interview , which is totally nonsense , as the big boss already agreed to go for me but somehow the basepay is totally low.

i went for the 4th interview .. then i'm not sure what is happening . i asked the recruiter what is the status , no update .

thus , i let it go , just like that .

for 2nd job interview which happened on mid-July , i went there for interview for sysadmin for another account . Cheetahmail.

they interviewed me in casual way , asking on project related stuff , troubleshooting , real case scenario etc.

then i keep asking for update . told be to waited until last week to check on update. Then they told me i'm not selected . For me , it is fine if i'm not selected , but after reply their email for update ?

this is it . i will not apply this company . totally wasting my time.

10% increment is damn low for hopping.
Can't even afford? Then how many % offer
*
10% is totally lowball for me , yes i should ask for 20-25% , but they can't afford this . totally b*shit

they gave me offer 4-5% increment ...which is not possible for me .

did they give you any reason by only 4-5% increment? yes, i agree with u 4-5% or even 10% is totally lowball for a hop...it is totally not worth it.
*
yes , lame reason = no budget .
