I am interviewing for a data/QA analyst position in Experian, first interview went well and i am keen to know more about the work environment. I asked a friend that work there but he does not recommend me to join Experian himself

he told me there are frequent hiring/firing/layoff going on in the company due to very active cost cutting exercise, the company just recently quietly layoff a full department that is performing well due to business unit sell out, for profitability purpose. he also talked about harsh working environment there with poor managers in his department but I guess poor management is different from department to department.

can someone that work there share their work experience especially on work pressure and management style?

my friend also don't know why new company did not absorb the employees, perhaps their salary are too high already?
