Well... Killzone 2 multiplayer has trophies, and for trophy whores.... its going to kill MGO.
MGO and MGS4 needs trophies.... the hell is Kojima Productions doing?

Yeah i dont understand why MGS4 and MGO has no trophies. It is such a quality game, and trophies will prolong the lifespan of a game entirely.

it has inbuilt emblems already...trophies are not necessary

Killzone 2 is a different genre. We'll see how the MP fares only we decide the fate of MGO.

If Konami had not screwed up the ID system in the first place, it would have attracted more players.

If I were one I wouldn't have spent much time on MGO, and would have spent more $ on games which features trophies..

I love Mirror's Edge, but I didn't purchase it just for the trophies. I just replayed the game to get those additional trophies. I'd to make sure my RM180 is well spent. And if it's easy to get and tutorials are lurking around the net on how to attain them, why not ?

Same goes for Killzone 2. Killzone's a cool and stuff, but it doesnt beat the unique premise of MGO Third Person mechanics.

japan server has more lobbies than NA server.

btw most japanese made games doesnt hve trophies.

Konami announced in the beginning that MPO+ and MGS3:Subsistence Online were merely a short duration experiment to prepare for further delving into their online games premise.

Also, MGS3:Subsistence Online required no fee's or payment of any kind. This was due to the servers being funded by Konami themselves. MGO on the other hand has Expansions, Codec packs, character slots all which require payment which would go into the maintanance of servers.

MGO is here to stay.

Yup, White Knight has ALOT of trophies but to archieve it, you need to do certain degree of move, levels up, combine, defeat this boss or that or learn skill, etc which takes alot of times... imagine that to get platinium for that

rpg games with trophies is something hard to go around collecting it i presume.
