Now that V-day’s ard the corner, some ppl on LYN r bz asking for opinions on what to get for his/her beloved (which is ironic bcoz obviously u know ur lover best)...choosing a gift esp for valentine’s is no joke and typically these are the few steps involved :

1) Think of what to get – and then you’ll go thru a list of what he/she (might) likes, what he/she does not hv, is he/she into branded stuff, how much is ur budget...lalala
2) And when u hv an idea of what you wanna get, then you’ll ask urself where to get it, is this gift expensive enough, how much is it, will he/she like it
3) Finally u got the gift & THE day is here: They either love it or hate it...you either get screwed or get to screw

Whenever V gift is concerned, we tend to link these few things together.

Valentine = special day = do/get sumtin special = more expensive = more special = boy/girl very happy = rship even stronger = ugly flower/gift shops biz flourish = ur wallet is lighter..but what’s the point of being extra nice & special for that ONE day...what about the rest of the 365 non V-days spent with him/her?

So i think there’s really no need to be so psyched up bout getting rm50 & above gifts when all you nidda do is be nice & caring to that one special person for...well as long as you’re together. Going back in history, ppl only used to celeb valentines by exchanging handwritten notes...simple but sincere from the heart...there u go, an idea for V-day. I have nth against V-day gift, go get what you want or don’t get anything at all...u know ur lover best flex.gif

valentine's day itself is overrated. smile.gif

businessmen love this day though, people spend unnecessarily under the spur of romance. gifts and dinners, they cost a bomb.
