And the feeling is really like playing NFS ProStreet Added on September 18, 2009, 11:00 am At least it is better than the crappy NFS undercover we had previously...... |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 20 2009, 05:07 AM) No matter how nice is the graphics and how the the career mode was brilliantly done, in the end, it still sucks with stupidly done driving physics. Yeah.. me too, put too much hope. Lousy game cheat money That's my verdict of this game. A total waste of time and waste of money. This game should be called NFS: SHIT instead. Once again I've put too much hope for another NFS sequel and the hope just got crushed badly. |

QUOTE(secondrate @ Sep 20 2009, 05:18 PM) Not so easy to play with kb... somemore the game likes to auto-brake, slowdown for me. Damn irritating. You can turn it off under MAIN MENU > OPTIONS > GAMEPLAY > DRIVINGI'm going to try with my Playstation controller soon. Now, this or GRiD nicer? I cannot decide This post has been edited by buysell: Sep 20 2009, 08:38 PM |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Sep 20 2009, 07:01 PM) Sure it's fun, but if you want better physics, SHIFT is certainly better in that department. Real life speed, immersive cockpit (dunno why I hate GRID's cockpit view, always bumper cam), freedom to setup the car and also more choices of races. Sure it lacks LAN capability, and was rushed to meet the deadline that you can't even use a mouse, but physics and tyre model is top notch. And did I mention that the FFB is way better than GRID's and can be adjusted manually as well? There, now I've say it. Actually I prefer games like Need For Speed Most Wanted and Carbon. Physic, physic, physic.. It's not about the physics, it's about how fun a game is lor.. Nowadays racing game too realistic no fun, I wish to have some fun with games and not to think too much. Our real life is difficult already Honestly said, if you hate this game for they physics, GT5's physics is non the better as well, and you will surely hate the real life sims like RBR, rFactor, GTR series and also Live For Speed. QUOTE(k!nex @ Sep 21 2009, 06:06 PM) I'm quite outdated in NFS series and i din noe shift is out. I feel like buying it 1. Dont think you will like this SHIFT, it's not the physics fault, it's because the control is too hard for keyboard/gamepad and you need steering wheel to drift properly.Wanna ask you guys, 1. If i like nfs: undercover and GRID (i like drift racing in GRID), will i like this? I never played NFS: Prostreet 2. System requirements issue. I dun feel any lag at all with NFS: Undercover. This Shift will make my PC lag or not? Running Vista SP 2 32bit with specs at siggy. My 19inch LCD monitor only can do 1280X1024 at 75hz. I've googled on the system requirements of this game, can meet all the recommended requirements but i need some real life feedback on it since the developers alwiz bullshit (eg: Crysis). 3. Can this game utilise quad core like GTA4 ? Thanks for reply. 2. No problems, your system is good enough to play at good speed just dont set max for AA will do. 3. Go download the demo and try it yourself. |

QUOTE(Omochao @ Sep 21 2009, 11:23 PM) Yes. Lovely isn't it? QUOTE(Omochao @ Sep 22 2009, 12:32 AM) The game isn't even crashing...it just stops responding...and I'm not on OC as well.....well EA has done a good job telling me that they really fail now in making NFS...the game now will seriously die.....I did manage to pass all the training stages but once up to the first race..the game f***ed up. Tier 1 suck? Wait until you play Tier 2 and you will get more angry will throw the game lor.. haha.. QUOTE(Omochao @ Sep 22 2009, 11:56 AM) SHIFT or GRID? Yes, many prefer GRID.QUOTE(Hou_JaI @ Sep 22 2009, 12:03 PM) f*** this game ... trying too hard again to become GT ... FAIL big time ... the traction and all are f***ed beyond playable ! Haha.. I like what you said. QUOTE(Omochao @ Sep 22 2009, 12:06 PM) Seriously...the game physics rocks......I like cars going sideways but the way EA made this game unplayable for many gamers is frustrating and hard to swallow as they are very long established company in the game industry. Physics dont help much on making a good fun game, that's for sure. If I want to feel physics? Better play Mirror's Edge! This post has been edited by buysell: Sep 23 2009, 01:44 AM |
