unless someone crack the bff file.... there should be a damage.ini file in it... so after that can tweak tweak tweak untill all parts of the car gettin damage. i think sms purposedly minimize the damage option since the game had no pit stop which is not good for "real driving experience"
Added on September 20, 2009, 11:31 pmwaaa this tread is super active la.... the most sad thing about this game is......online race 8 ppl only... common la, we get an almost 24 ppl in MSR rfactor league. in the international league of rfactor sometimes 40++ racing at once...8!!!!? sedih aku

waaaaaa, sammpai posting kat virtualr..... very rare thing to do for a malaysian. heheheh..... just behave yourself when u're in there. i've been there for ages so 1 advice.... some poster over there are so criticals about things... better double check what you want to post. otherwise...flamewarrrrr!!! hehehehhehehehehe..... simracer are mostly sensetive ppl.. so be cool ok guys
alahai invince.... please dont call me sifu infront of the mat salleh..... some of the guy posting there for instance f1racer is one of the great modder for rfactor.... MMG ring a bell... so please dont do that ever again... malu lah
yup thats rite. By going slow into the corner will give u some traction to step on it and exit the corner. But u got to know the limit of the grip so ure not too slow into the corner or u'll end up slow in slow out instead.
Thats why try to know the car and the track first by going around and get to know the racing line, the grip or ur car and track. Once u know, u can begin to go faster and faster until u can feel ure at the limit of the grip at corners. Thats where the term 'driving at the limit' comes from.
after this we can get more and more racing freaks (simracers). kan mara kan.......
get a wheel bro, cheap2 one also can. as long as it has force feedback should be fine............... it made a huge immersion for u. then after that fork some mone more n get rafactor . then join msr..... season gonna start soon.... shift is a good start for anyone who want to get into sim racing. if u like shift... sooner or later you gonna love simracing ......
league to sabo dulu wei.... aku tengah meracun tu kat thread yg lagi satu tu "ehem" tgk la sendiri nanti... cuma cadangan je tu. tapi klu cadangan tu di sokong alangkah bestnya......... all online racer under i roof..hehehheheheeheheh
i'm still dloading the full retail version from eastore.com. another 30hrs++ to go... lalallalalalallalalalalala....
seems that so many simracers (RYUGAN, MARAJELLO55, Linkinstreet)) join SHIFT bandwagon.... most of them known as "GOD on WHeels" others better watchout....... more to come. wait for MSR BIG BOSS to come in to. not me la pren..... you'll know who he is soon

definitely GRiD is better...WAAAAYYYYYYY better than Shift. now...if only GRiD was sim.
*codemasters...pls, GRiD 2 must hv arcade, semi-sim, and sim option*
i believe the full damage still have bugs. supporsed when its says full damage with perfomance of the car should also have driving effect but not. i think we have to wait to conform that
Added on September 27, 2009, 9:43 amWith the initial buzz about the release of Need for Speed Shift slowly easing off, clever PC modders have started looking for ways to further improve Slightly Mad Studio’s newest title.
Basis for all modding is a tool named QuickBMS that allows packing and unpacking of Shift’s files. More info on the tool and support can be found in the XeNTaX forums.
One of the first guys to take advantage of the new possibilities is Tobias Kluge who has released two Need for Speed Shift mods. The first one reduces or completely removes the depth of field blur at high speeds as you can see on the comparison shots below. The second reduces the AI aggression to 55%, resulting in much cleaner racing. Optionally, the mod also reduces the grip level for those who feel that the cars in Shift are too grippy.
Added on September 27, 2009, 9:44 amand guys responsible for reelfeel plugin for RFACTOR also contribute somethin for this game too

if only liveries can be mod with photoshop or other simple image editing tools
dont worry since the game is based on gmotor engine which also same game engine as rfactor,gtr,gtr2,gtl,gtrevo,race07,f1challange,f12000, there will surely be lots of mod to come for shift. there are huge amount of modding group for these game and surelly in no time, some of em will start modding shift
i think there is an option for u to have custom controller
