For HTC-built MSM7K-based devices only! All MSM7K are technically capable, but only HTC's may have the correct drivers. Will probably not work on stock ROMs. I suspect the CDMA versions of the older MSM7K devices - pre-diamond - do not have the necessary drivers either. As far as I know, the first device that came with these drivers is the Kaiser, but IIRC they are also included in various Polaris ROMs.

About
Short and simple, GfxBoost activates "QTV" mode for specific surfaces. This makes for example DirectDraw display smoother and: a bit slower or significantly faster, depending on how you look at it. It also seems to have a small effect on Direct3D/OpenGL.

Err, what?
Right, this is a bit tricky! If you will benchmark it the result will be lower FPS. However, it will actually appear faster. This is because normally, not all frames are actually drawn on-screen, and the timing of the drawing can be so it appears nothing is being actually drawn at all. This does not happen when using GfxBoost - more is actually drawn to the screen, and smoother. So, from the application's point of view, it can do less per second, but from what you actually see on-screen, more happens! If you don't understand what I mean, just take it from me: it definitely looks better

sorta never do in a long long while d, cuz it takes a long long while, hard-spl and flash rom per device around 45 minutes. and not really worth my time and i busy lol, i charge just peanuts. u can learn in XDA though. Make sure u use unsigned hard-spl, WIndows XP, and a laptop (incase power outage while flashing)

because Garmin is NOT FREE. even TP doesnt provide bundle with GARMIN Applications. you will understand what i mean.

i just a 2nd hand SG set Diamond 5 month phone~
my ram % always lost(can't see how many % use) ~then cannot shutdown~ need restart~this happen today is i'm look something on web by using build in opera browser..and 1 time is i was playing my camera funtion then after quit it and roll back to home page~then the clock time mising~and the ram % can't show again~~i left half year waranty at SG starhub should i take it back for waranty?

Please give more details on your set:
1. Soft reset...below the Touch Diamond give the details of
R, G, D. You can also access it by settings->System->Device Information.
If its the camera functions that freezing your set than it must be the firmware, you need to update it.

Backup first and then do a hard reset....
But don't do it first, maybe someone else got other ideas.

previously i already did a hard reset(type 1234 to clear)
my previous problem is when i click the top bar to off wifi or other things...it came out the sound "click click click click" when i close the page then the sound go off~but the ram % problem hv~only 2 time ~then i do hard reset edi...then now mat this problem again==also 2time edi==
