(always need to use the stylus) - This is not actually true. Its quite finger friendly i find it. The phone is one of the best windows mobile phones i use so far. Highly recommended if ur a first time windows mobile user.. Heheh.

What applications you got in that ROM?
Diamonds had very restricted memories. You may want to consider a lite ROM and install all your needed applications into the 4GB Internal Storage.

Also, set your "X" in HTC Task Manager to close program. Don't let them hang around in the background. laugh.gif

CleanRam.

guys.. what is the cons of HTC diamond ? because thinking to get one to play with it... and how the photo quality ? thanks ya..

Cons? Well, different people different perception. For me, weak battery life, memory leak issues, certain times lagging, sound quality kinda weak, picture quality weak as well, etc. But if you can cope with that, its fine smile.gif

Omnia Bro??? No offense but for me that phone was worst then diamond. Even it does not have lag issues that much but the response of the screen was really bad. For my opinion, out of all the Windows Mobile phones i used, X1 and diamond is one of the best so far. The HTC Touch HD is Superb. thumbup.gif

No problem. It's just personal preference.

Regarding the screen respond, IMO, Omnia is on par with the newer TD2, which are better than Diamond.

And Omnia II is the best among all the present WMs now.

HD? HD is also only equivalent to TD2.

Go to a Samsung Service Center and test out both the old and new Omnias.

No, I'm talking about the first Omnia, but it's still just my opinion.

Omnia II is just for comparison only. smile.gif

Anyway, we'll let fongzai92 to decide for himself.

@ fongzai92, choose wisely.

I was only giving you a suggestion, you don't have to buy Omnia.

Try out more devices before buying. Samsung Service Centers let you play with their display sets. Don't know about HTC.

Take your time and choose the one that you like better.

anyway to make the scratches go away or not so visible? notworthy.gif

others than that, its still a awesome device, 1st time using vga pda since my last pda o2 atom. biggrin.gif

After you put on the screen protector, it'll not be so visible.

You can also try to polish it (LIGHTLY) will a car polish (e.g.: Kit). And switch off your device before polishing.

Well, i have the same thinking as frozenkid to be honest. Before i got myself the TD, i am torn between the newer touch screen devices. No preferences (from TD to Omnia, to Xperia to iPhone). At that moment, i limit myself to the Omnia and the TD (iPhone does not come with warranty and Xperia is too bulky) and after i play with both of them for a while at PDAexpert in Midvalley, i just felt that the Omnia is a tad more laggy compared to the TD. Probably its user preference but i dont think by any chance the Omnia 1 is on par with the Touch HD or the TD2. At least on screen responsiveness. Well, again, thats personal preference.

Where did you get the screen protector? I had been looking high and low for the capdase screen protector (seems like dadarouch aint selling them anymore) and cant seem to find it smile.gif And yes, my screen is full of minor scratches now.
