And anyone have any step by step guide on doing flashing for the TD to the WinMO6.5? Need to learn for a beginner I am interested to do it on my TD with the warranty period looming And which version/custom rom of WinMO6.5 is the best out there at the moment?

recently my friend buy htc diamond, but the accelerator (g sensor) seems to be broken, already updated to latest ROM (cooked) and used HTC G-sensor callibrator but does not work, when he play Teeter, the ball roll right to left only, cannot roll up and down, furthermore, the phone cannot change to landscape mode when turned..help needed? how much to repair the g sensor? at low yat what shop can repair?

hear from one of the forumer here...forgot who already...coz he told me tat needed gmail to activate the htc dream...so nit 2 connect to internet...that y i change to winmo phone...

Baronic, for the g sensor repair, is it takes time to repair, because i only have about 2 to 3 days in KL this weekend, so can take the phone to repair at low yat. if it takes time to repair, then have to bring to somewhere else la..
futhermore, in this forum can discuss about cooked rom, hardspl, etc?

You should also remember to flash stock SPL, radio and ROM before sending in for warranted repairs.

Well, i am current using one from Olinex 1.40. Recommended by Aavatar and even on XDA, it was said to be compatible with a lot of ROMs out there. Not sure what difference it makes but no problem so far. LOL..

I am seeing 2 different type of interface (Today Screen) on the WM6.5. The one on the BsB is like a list where you scroll down for some options while the one on the EnergyROM is the same classic TF3D slide icon at the bottom of the screen. Any idea how can i shift it from one to another?

And i just changed back to BsB. The EnergyROM was just wayyy to memory hungry. After a few hours, the memory usage is lingering to around 86%.

guys wat hardspl to use i see there is many..i want to upgrade to cooked rom.

New HTC Touch Diamond user here (i know it's nothing great to shout about, but I feel good with this phone ), lots of things to do and learn here.. yay!

My mistake, will update. Trying to solve gps fix. is it very long to wait for first time? cant download the quickgps. now googling how to use laptop internet connection for td via usb. anybody noes?

My diamond is already out of warranty and now have problem. major actually, there is a crack at the USB connection port where we normally put the cable for charging battery (the one with black colour). so not able to charge the PDA. but I'm lucky my wife have the same device so I can put my battery to be charged with her device.

Asked few phone repair shop, they have no spare part to replace. call SIS and they said they will charge RM80 for diagnostic for them to make a quote (refundable if we repair with them). labour fee will be RM 150 exclude the part cost. I'm not sure whether it worth to repair or better to find other phone. at the other side, I bought this PDA for RM 1600 only when the price of that time about RM 2400. looking for advice
