let me school you for a bit, coming from the best scout in SEA.
the FAN has a 2 rapid shot with a slow as reload time, whilst the scatter gun has 5 shot with faster reload hence far better efficiency. the only way you can 2shot a target by using FAN, permit that you don't jump and your target don't get pushed away from an unreasonable distance. imagine your target jumps constantly left and right to avoid getting hit, while you try to 2 shot your target.
there is an obvious reason why no competitive scouts uses FAN in their matches.
