language problem with taiwan chinese, all i get is gibberish

installed a chinese software but when i opened it, all i get is gibberish instead of proper taiwan chinese words, i changed my pc language to taiwan chinese but i still get gibberish anyone know how to fix this?

Mind sharing what program it is? And are you sure you have set your code page to BIG5?

what is the program name you trying to install? what did you mean "Chinese pack installed"? did you turn this into Chinese (Taiwan)?  *PRC is simplified Chinese *Chinese (Taiwan) is traditional Chinese character PS: Restart to take effect of the changes This post has been edited by chow1942: Feb 1 2009, 02:57 AM
