From the screenshots, it doesn't looks like turn-based, coz the right bottom corner has action buttons, probably sort of action type like Star Oceans, .//hack or Tales.

artwork/graphics is nice as expected, but i hope as the above poster said, the battle system is not like the ps2 one, its the one thing that prevented me from finishing it.
and yes, i thought the mc was a chick too, seldom see a male char show their thighs cleavage lol.

finished the game with 1000G (would have been 1240G if not because of the DLC). Quite an easy game overall, I wisht here was some sort of secret dungeons or bosses to make it tougher. The ending is so familiar |

Just finished the game with DLC, 1240g (what a weird number).
I can't believe the weapons that the DLC gives are the strongest weapon in the game, and they let you use them at the beginning... Don't mention the weapon stats, the fact that those weapon has 18 grey kamond slots, you can't possibly have any sort of difficulty bashing thru the WHOLE game.
The battle mechanics are so simple, it's all about accumulating kan and unleash killing skills. Boss battles usually end after 2-4 powerful skills, 5min tops. If you ever overheated a char, nvm, switch to another char, use a skill that has long animation, problem solved (so FF9-alike).
Finally, the story reminds me of FF10...
