My guess is Scolari is going to Man City and Mark Hughes is going to Chelsea, lol what a joke.

Don't really F care about what gonna happen to Chelsea actually, but i feel sorry for Scolari, i think he just needed more times, Even Grant was given more time and able to reach UCL Final last season.

QUOTE(whoopa @ Feb 10 2009, 02:34 AM) u guys should realise club football and country football is diff ... club to country is always easier as there is less burden .... how many games in a year ... country to club is always harder That is not the best excuse. Before taking the responsibility, a manager should have expected that especially when it was involving a big deal (It's Chelsea & they have Roman Abramovich) Not only the manager, the management also need to be more understanding. |

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Feb 10 2009, 02:48 AM) Well, what I meant was RA has a Veto power or what? Technically, he is the owner of the club rite? Agree with the bolded part, that was the issue, Scolari needed more times so that he could have the consistency. It is not the best excuse but it is something to be bear in mind. It's a two different thing. In cup competitions, I would say it is 100% upon luck(take a good look at us last season, UCL?). While competing in a league needs consistency and high level of concentration to both manager and players. Despite of that, I still think that Big Phil should've been given more time. Lain manager, lain style! BTW, my prediction is: Hughes gonna get sacked and Scolari to replace him This post has been edited by maxizanc: Feb 10 2009, 02:57 AM |

Neh, Wellbeck is not my favourite player... not yet!
And i agree with the Ronaldo's celebration, that linesman is slow by 10 seconds. Something is wrong with the circuit in his head, wiring problem. And to be honest, i didn't really confident with the SAF's decision to not to use any our striker but couldn't complain much as SAF we played some of our young player or non-regular in the game and managed to win comfortably. We want the trophy back!!! |

Giggs had been playing as striker for quiet number of times previously.
As for Ronaldo, he's giving away ball cheaply to opponent didn't he nowadays? One reason i can think of, he is in the process of changing his play style, as we all know, he's passing a lot more than dribbling now, and most of his passings were incomplete because he's trying or in his situation now he's learning how to pass creatively. Only worked with Giggs or Rafael as far as i can see and hopefully he can link up together with all player well. He is not yet there, but close. |

QUOTE(Reddy818 @ Feb 18 2009, 01:26 PM) look like last season 2 young stars do not much chance to play in the 1st eleven..due to fletcher and giggs blistering form... It was because of our early exit in Carling Cup? And in F.A Cup last season, most (all) of our opponent were from BPL (Totenham, Arsenal, Portsmouth) so that SAF decided not to depend on youngsters so much? |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Feb 18 2009, 01:33 PM) Should we give Nani a run out in the team to continue building up his form? Otherwise have no complain on the rest of the team QUOTE(boxsystem @ Feb 18 2009, 02:12 PM) In my opinion, we should. Nani and Ronaldo does well with Scholesy and Carrick's long ball. I wouldn't miss tonight's match. It's about time for us to put a better gap on Pool. Believe me, SAF is currently having a headache and don't know which to choose, he'll choose Jason Park because he's more handsome than Nani, lol. |

I think we should have had enough praise from everyone. I am slightly worry with all of the compliment from the rival player, manager and football legends to our player, it is still early at this point even though they deserved to be praised.

QUOTE(shortleg88 @ Feb 19 2009, 12:05 AM) Think Paul Scholes deserve all that credit, one of my favourite player when I just started supporting Man Utd and still is. He CAN tackle but mostly mistimed. Alan Sharer might not have seen much of Scholes tackle though Never seen Ronaldo's tackling before |
