 pc hdd -> xbox 360, can't detect. .!

i put my hdd on the usb slot on xbox 360

but it seems like the xbox 360 can't detect my hdd.my hdd has a yellow lights (which mean the hdd has been put at the usb slot)

when i go to video libary,music,pic library.there's a portable drive or something like that but the colour of the writing is not white but kelabu which mean the xbox 360 cnnt detect the hdd

after that i try to put the hdd on pc.it works..but on 360 cnnt

few months ago i put my mp3 on 360 to charge it and hear song from the mp3.it works perfectly

anyone know about this prob??

hahahaha...
if i guess right.. it's not your xbox or your hdd is the cause..
it's the file system on your hdd might be the cause..
x360 wont recognize NTFS partition. u need a FAT32 and it must be on primary partition.
of course ur mp3 player would not have such problem since it's in FAT.

oh.no wonder cnnt
tq but if im not mistaken ps3 can detect the NTFS partition.
my friend hdd can use it on ps3,not sure wheter it FAT32 or NTFS

PS3 cannot detect NTFS also. Only FAT.
