Anyone experiencing frequent change of internet services between 3G and H+ ? Mine half of the time is on 3G, and when it's on 3G, I can't even load Google search results. Very annoying as it would take me up a minute just to get what I want to search.
In my current household, all on Celcom. Two with LTE phones and another two with older phones. Those with LTE can get constant LTE connection and no disconnection. The other two, however, kept on getting 3G and H+ intermittently... |

That's called fast dormancy technology, the 3G on Celcom is totally useless one, only for battery saving, but H+ is too slow to kick in which causes delay when you want to use Internet. In my current household, all on Celcom. This technology doesn't apply on Celcom's LTE yet, but it applies to my Digi line where 4G+ will only kick in when there is an active connection ongoing. |

Yes, I understand the dormancy technology, but it switches back to 3G even when i'm on YouTube =\This technology doesn't apply on Celcom's LTE yet, but it applies to my Digi line where 4G+ will only kick in when there is an active connection ongoing. |

QUOTE(jian5481 @ Mar 1 2016, 10:14 AM) Most likely the buffering stopped for quite a while then fast dormancy kicked in, by the time your device requested a new connection to continue the video buffering, H+ is slow to respond. |

QUOTE(Q-C @ Mar 1 2016, 01:26 PM) Just plan change, but still using the same network. If you use more internet and make call frequently , this is the plan to go with. keep in mind that, if you want additional data, it will cost RM20= 1GB. This is the only downside |

I don't know why... But Celcom network seems a bit slow and I keep on losing signal 3G and 4G.

Well it seems not anyone else is facing any network congestion.
Coming from Maxis. Now I can feel why Maxis is #1 in all aspects except for price point on packages. |

Celcom network seem slow since they introduced the RM38 plan. Before this, no problems whatsover with their network.
