kuih bakul is a specialty for chinese new year celebration. Very hard to find good ones. Most of the good kuih bakul maker will start selling their homemade kuih bakul at chinese wet markets the week before CNY. So get ready to stock up the week before CNY. Just goto chinese wet markets during the period and there should be a lot.
