I agree with bacho. Forget about that troll bro Ajis.
BTW can I post my Garland pics here, since they did appear in that awful Robotech the Movie (first version)... |

Try to google for Robotech the Movie. Revenge of the Masters or something like that...It was a mesh up of Southern Cross and MZ23 part 1 that had a brilliant NEW ending by Carl Macek...
![]() I have factory version and megazone 23 part 2 version. Heard the original version had issues with the shoulder so I skipped it... But GF took back the digi cam...When I get it back I post the pics! This post has been edited by Duke Beard: Mar 17 2009, 04:54 PM |

QUOTE(wolfx @ Mar 17 2009, 05:55 PM) URGH. This story should be left untold. You made a disservice to ppl on this thread by re-introducing it. >_< But the people deserved to be told of the awfulness of Carl Macek! But the only good thing about that movie was the new ending (thanks to Carl Macek) that had Shogo (I forgot his Robotech name) pawning Col. Edwards in a modified Garland that doubled as a cockpit of a fighter jet!!! As opposed to the original anime ending that had Shogo kena trashed like nobody's business! LOL! |

QUOTE(evanrue @ Apr 5 2009, 07:10 PM) Those are SUPER NICE Duke HLJ have them at 50% IIRC...Shipping is a bomb though...are they still in the Rm3xx price range? they are out of production already is it true that the rider figure can be placed inside the robot mode? Added on April 5, 2009, 7:11 pm Superb Hauls bro!!! sadly, i dont collect 1/48th scaled valks, but that camo scheme is AWESOME! Yeah, you can transform with Shogo in the cockpit. It's quite hard to get him to sit still because you need the figure to be quite steady in place. Though the manual does teach you to transform with the figure seated, I always just leave him out. If you ever decide to get a Garland, don't get the first version (the original red and white colour scheme). Get these versions. A lot of horror stories about the shoulders (the part that holds the 2 wheels to the main body) snapping after being transformed a few times. Another reminder would be the hands...Really cheap plastic feel compared to the other parts... This post has been edited by Duke Beard: Apr 6 2009, 08:53 AM |
