just gotten my 1st 2Gen 1/60 Yamato Macross...
since 1/48 did not issue the VF1D, so got no choice....

But to my very suprise.. The new 1/60 is very solid-ly built, I was really not refering ro the manual and twist and turn transform to gerwalk model, same as the 1/48
very solid parts.

Size wise compared with the VF0S.. now can see how big is the VF0S compared to VF1's
I do not have the VF19 & 11B, Mac Frontier to compare .. so only this pic... anyone have the mentioned probably can share

Becareful about it although you say it feels solid. Crack has appeared on some people's 1/60v2's shoulders, mine included. Take care when moving/transforming the hands.

And as for Koenig Monster transformation guide, use this.

The original guide isn't very clear on the instructions.

I agree bro thumbup.gif VF-0S cannot be skipped; it has that classic look that even the VF-1x cannot capture in terms of realism.. At the least, get Roy's colour scheme; droolicious drool.gif

my Beagle arrived today!! yipppeeeee! FAST shipping from HLJ, and friendly Customs let my item go without paying the tax smile.gif

It's gorgeous, but i do think it is too expensively priced.. the lack of tampo printing is not expected for this pricepoint IMHO.. also, the red cloth thing feels rather brittle, especially when you want to move the elbow joints sad.gif but so far no problem with it. Got it for a total of RM690 including shipping smile.gif

Wow....so fast. You ship EMS? How much was the shipping? And your story gives me hope about tax cuz my next shipment from HLJ is RM570.

And i had the misfortune of having VF-0S first edition. The joints on it are damn loose. Sigh.

Yeah the red cloth is a problem...so is the neck joint for the helmet head, but nothing a little nail polish can fix. I wished i gotten it for your price though. Sigh.

When i went to pick the Beagle up, the Custom told me it might be taxed. She then ask me what it is and i told her it is a toy (can't help it, HLJ wont mark it as gift and the full price is printed on the invoice).. then i opened up the box and showed her the Beagle box inside. she then said that since it is only 1 unit and apparently for personal collection, she can let it go wink.gif

was so happy then, i was actually ready with abt rm150 in case kena taxed... rclxub.gif

i wasnt expecting the EMS shipping is super fast, JPY3000 in total, about RM 111..

ohya, the Miri customs are know to be helpful, so cant really speak for other area Custom officers.. hopefully yours wont kena tax bro smile.gif

Oh you're in sarawak. Gah...mati la aku. Personal collection memang shouldn't be taxed. But darn big trouble for me to go down to customs in KL cause its freaking far away and i have to pay some serious toll money to get there. Sigh.

My yukikaze (part of the parcel) better be worth it.
