i saw at ikea catalogue they sell the display cabinet around 199.. thingking to buy that to keep all my vf's away from dust..hehe
It won't help much cause the DETOLF has big gaps in the door side. Might have less dust but not gonna save it totally from dust. Have to find a way to seal the gaps in the cabinet which i yet to have any idea.
I foresee the problem is if u close the gaps, the door will be unable to open/close. Probably use some kinda rubber lining for doors that you often see in aircond rooms to non-aircond-rooms in office.
Hey thanks for the link! I'll go check out Ace Hardware if they sell these.

I have this glass cabinet/detolf..but it's kinda small to fit my Yamato toys ..aside there is no problem from getting dusty, as long I don't put them in the lowest subrack
Yeah they can't fit much valks....i was thinking of sacrificing them to dust and buying some big wooden racks. My room is really dusty for some reason. Clean today, next week can see a layer again. Sigh. I keep cleaning my 25th anniversary YF-19 since its so obvious the dust.
I like destroid mode for Monster the best since its the main form. The main thing i can't stand about it is the knees which are totally wrong (supposed to be smaller knees and higher) and the nose cone that folds down and doesn't stay up. I needed to use blue tack to keep the nosecone up in destroid mode.
Otherwise i think its worthy for your collection until they make a better one.
Picture details of upcoming ozma vf model kit. Looks bulky. Personally i wait for DX version bcoz of stability during posing gerwalk mode. But still very tempting .Enjoy the review

Again this is NOT the upcoming ozma armored kit. The armour is scratch built. Hobby Japan modellers are always faster than Bandai themselves.
hi,macross noob here...i was planning to buy a vf-25s but i came across with 2 of it when i was browsing through this thread
whats the difference between the one currently sold in the market and the one shown in shizuoka expo?

and this

is the boxart the only difference here?
I'm assuming you talking about the model kits and not the toys. The box art here is the Super VF-25S...and the Shizuoka Hobby Show one is the Full Armored VF-25S. Compare the armour pieces carefully and you will see its different.
And the difference is the armour pieces that connect to each other. Requires some major part swapping.

Thanks Bro, finally can hear the click sound by pulling the lower heat shield.
Easy to use......supposedly. I had some problems with my wash forming bubbles on the surface (probably due to lousy brush?) so when it dries before i wipe the excess off, it forms splotches. After the tomahawk, i found the right time to wipe it off gently from the panel lines to make a weathering effect in the direction the wind supposed to flow on the valk. I'm quite happy with the results. Its just not as easy as the video makes it seem to be.
from bandai's website, the full armor vf-25 model kit 1/72 will come out on: - ozma 26th June - alto 25th June expect them to arrive in malaysia 2-3 weeks later...
meanwhile, i finally had time to take a group photo session of my completed kits
