Guys, after seeing some pictures of the VF25G, i am interested in painting it first before assembling and wondering, anyone knows what is the color code that resembles the color of the kit? Either Mr.Hobby or Tamiya Paint will do as well. Probably painting the blue, gray and white parts.

ya..me too...but to late coz some of the part already assemble... aihhh... just now thinking to paint it...nvm..next one will paint it first before assemble it...

notice the two different tones of greens? my guess is that it's not a defect and it's meant to be designed that way

Actually, from what I gather, some units don't display two different tones, while some do, so its most likely a defect. Also, going by line art and the 1/72 kit, the RVF-25 does come in two tones, but not in those areas.

we're talking about bandai here. It's somewhat impossible to get so many Bandai products with defects right? Also, I would like to see myself 1 chogokin rvf-25 without 2 different tones of greens as I personally have yet to see 1 before. Now I'm waiting for mine to arrive so that I can verify it myself..

Are they gonna produce VF25G and RVF25 armor like Ozma VF25S Armor?

The last time i checked on NgeeKhiong blog, it seems that Bandai only going to produce Armored Messiah on Alto and Ozma custom as the others never showed on the animation itself. Maybe they are going to sell the Armored Parts seperately and can be used on the other customs

If you're talking about the Armor pack and not the Super pack, then the possibilities look slim, since VF-25G and RVF-25 never ever wore the Armor pack in the anime. But then again Bandai may just milk the entire franchise dry, anime accuracy be damned.

Why impossible? If the batch is flawed, then the whole batch will be defective. Dishwater is right. This is a reported defect. Some ppl on macrossworld also did comparisons and seems its a batch problem. Some batches of the rvf-25 are ok but some have the two different colour tones. You can attempt to get a replacement from the shop you buy from if you are not happy with the colour tones.

And speaking of Bandai defects, Bandai last week reported about the miscoloured intakes on the super packs for their Ozma set (Japan webstore exclusive) and have offered for 1 to 1 exchange with Japan buyers.

Added on April 14, 2009, 5:36 pmDo you mean Armour or super pack? I not sure about armour pack cuz no news yet, but if super pack, its a webstore exclusive just like for Ozma's super pack. Where to find, best bet is ebay or yahoo japan unless you have contact in Japan to help order for you.

One thing i realized when i tranformed it into gerwalk mode, both the shoulder block is made of die-cast instead of plastic unlike alto and ozma custom.

Well I just checked the web and you're right, really is a defect and a rare mistake by bandai.. I'm perfectly fine with it though...
The super-pack was just released in Japan recently. not really worth buying though..

ehehehe.... then let me flood some pics on my Vf-25G and Alto.
