Hi, the joining part of DX Alto in the photo below seems can't hold tightly to support upper body. I wonder how it stand if Alto is carrying Armored parts. Any ideas how to address it? rclxub.gif

even without amoured parts, is the said joining pegĀ  still loose?
*
Yes ajis. It is quite loose. not sure if the modelling putty, or a layer of super glue can help.

that depends on your luck... mine's quite tight... but my friend is not that lucky... his DX were very loose.... especially his VF-25S... the whole upper body collapse once your finger on it....
*
Isn't that stupid (Bandai)? We paid so much for the toy (compare to Transformers) but yet have this kind of unacceptable defeats.

I guess it caused by bad CC then, but mine seems fine..all the joining pegs are tight hmm.gif
*
I guess sooner or later it will become looser...unless we don't transform it.
They should make this part like a locker. vmad.gif

BTW, According to what I saw in http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-88929-1-1.html
that DX 25-s Ozma with armored set has more attachment holes. The new Ozma needs more points to attach with armore set.

Gentlemen, get ready to sell away our existing Alto and Ozma. doh.gif

I think i have no luck on Macross toys.

Look at the photos below, the chest protection part somehow a bit too tight to fit into my 25-G chest and it's broken. (i just started playing this toy)
However, this problem does not exist in my 25-F. I think super glue supplier is getting rich already. Ozma armored probably is my last toy on Macross. No doubt that the toy design looks great...but....

It is very tempting bro.... otherwise i wont be so forgetful/ forgiveness and have decided to buy the armored version. biggrin.gif
Maybe I'm too use with the Transformers toy (you can drop few times on the floor but still look fine), therefore not get use to it.

that's really scary.... it's just like macross zero broken shoulder... by right there shouldnt be any problem with the parts consider the price we pay for....
Not too bad la.. at least it is not obvious. Luckily super glue can create some miracle. rclxms.gif

Ya Richard. That was my finding from other forums. Maybe this armour pack will comes with a tool for us to dig the hole ourselves huh... icon_idea.gif

BTW, do you think eventually they will come out the full armour pack with Ozma and alto? (in order not to confuse others... I'm refering to the DX version) If so perhaps I will buy the full pack later.

QUOTE(honkhet @ May 14 2009, 03:04 PM)
after careful observation,
there is some diff between this model and the one bandai showed at the show, esp at the shoulder armor size and the chest piece

its a pretty darn good scratch build thought,
or maybe it was a prototype?

Bro, the flight mode picture of F-27 that you uploaded doesn't look like can transform either. This model kit 1/72 can't transform huh?
