My rating on the Macross quarter:
Design: 8/10
Sculpt: 8.5/10
Painjob: 7/10
Gimmicks: 7/10
Accessories included on the package: 9/10
Price: 6/10
Overall: 7.5/10
Design of the Quarter was pretty good. Feels solid and heavy thanks to the metal parts on the foot. Stands firmly too.

Joints are tight on all parts of the figure.

Articulation on this figure is excellent as well. You can do lots of pose on this figure and furthermore fingers are articulated. Given also on the package are 1 set of extra hands.
However there is the arm that I don't really like about it. I would prefer that Bandai design the arm to have rachet joints instead of using the screw joints.

If one would display it holding the flight deck and gun, the arms will surely sag overtime.

This is partly of the weight and also due to the lenghty gun and flight deck. The sculpt was pretty accurate to the anime. Would have prefer more details were added on the whole figure. Then again price would be enormous.
Paintjob was just above average. As the figure on mine, I can still spot some messy paintjob on the foot and on the head.

Accessories was good especially the stand included for Battroid and ship mode. Also included on the package were tiny miniatures that complement the Quarter (VF-25, Konig monster... etc). Although not in scale, but was good enough that Bandai included them in.

Gimmicks on this figure are as follows:
1) Flight deck lifts. (2 of it)
2) Retractable squarish thingy on the bottom of the flight deck. (Don't know what is this. But pretty cool) LOL...
3) Flight deck to holster on the back of the battroid
4) Firing gun mode.
Price wise, this thing is pretty expensive.
But then if you are able to get it cheaper below RM700 then I think its worth it.
