theres one more chalet closer to the beach & cheaper than Seri Malaysia. the chalets are maintain by Pusat Latihan LKIM @ Camar Laut.

http://www.sungaipelek.com/bagan/camarlaut.html

i usually go there for the seafood only.. the best & cheapest seafood restaurant located next to football field on your left (not so fancy, wooden restaurant.. sorry can't remember the name).

not sure what activity can u do there but usually theres a lot of people camping on the beach at nite..

From Bagan Lalang, drive a bit more like 20 min will reach a town call Tanjung Sepat. There have a few seafood restaurants serving good food. Then also the famous "lover's bridge" right out side the restaurants. Actually it's some sort of pier that you can walk out into the sea.

Alternative of using Banting way which is pretty far for KLian, u can try using the KLIA>F1>Sepang way.

Is it up to individual whether to use
1) Sg Besi >NSE>Nilai >> KLIA F1>>Sepang
2) Sg Besi-Puchong >LDP>Putrajaya>KLIA F1>Sepang (cheapest way! only RM1.60 toll at the last toll at Bkt Puchong)
3) Maju xpressway to KLIA.

U Can try Seri Malaysia. But i don't know anything about the condition of the hotel.
If you want nice seafood, u can drive up to Tanjung Sepat and they have pretty nice seafood restaurants along the beach.
Also nice place for sunsets.

if you're thinking of something adventurous or something new, then you could try to camp at bagan lalang @ gold coast. i've been there with my gf for camping, the services by the staff of gold coast was good smile.gif it's a private beach with guards rounding the place at night.

overall the camping trip for me i think is a very good experience for camping and the sound of waves is nice too. can see stars at night smile.gif

not a bad experience for couples..hehe

Seafood around that area is good...all the way after Morib beach to Tg Sepat and Batu Laut...therafter is PD...bad food tongue.gif

But these places is not really a beach area...coz they are muddy and people's expectation is definitely different blink.gif

my house is just 10 minute drive away from Bagan Lalang. Nice place for family picnics or BBQing and even camping.

Seafood is very cheap. Nasi lemak + pari + drinks = RM5-rm6 only.

With the Gold Coast coming up bagan Lalang will be one of the major tourist attraction in the future.

for those who keep telling that the water is dirty etc etc its the natural colour of the water. Dont expect crystal clear Mauritius beach sea water near a mangrove swamp area. Ive been deep inside the place exploring the area since its my hometown and nothing better to do dry.gif . Nice place for fishing, cycling. I'd bet many never explore the area before giving comments.

peace.

Well go to bagan lalang for the seafood. It's really good especially they stingray. They really know how to choose the young stingray whose flesh is super soft.

As for the beach though, it suck. It is super dirty and spending the night there is a total waste.

Aah, you tried the stingray rclxms.gif

about the water dont expect so much now, with the construction and stuff going around the water is the same colour for the last 20 years i've been living there. The mangroove swamp behind the beach is quite big, and the type of sand makes the water that colour.
Give the developers some time to clean the waters because they are planning to build a theme park in 20 years time or so if im not mistaken.

No idea lol, but from KLIA you can go to Sepang town, from there there will be signboards showing where the beach is. About 20 minute drive from Sepang town.

Where you ate? perhaps you went to the wrong restaurant. there is a nice chinese shop serving mango curry fish, damn it tastes freakin nice but have to drive to Tanjung Sepat which will be another 15 minutes from Bagan Lalang.

However during the trip all the way from Sepang to B.Lalang there so many Dragon Fruit along the road stall. Most of it is nice n cehap! I did 'borong' some.. laugh.gif

Belongs to my teachers husband, and its expensive there. The cheap one is with the 100plus sign board named Seaview or something.
and yeah, dragon fruit is famous there too, im sick of eating them since my neighbors keep giving me lotsa dragon fruit for free...

alamak price..., usually my friend belanja me...LoL.... last time (last month) we ate 1 siakap steam + 1 kerapu (garupa?) bakar + 1 fish dont remenber + sotong deep fried (goreng tepung) + butter prawn + chili crab + pepahat (bamboo creature)(lol i dont remember what it called...!)(chilli oso) + otak2 (veryyyyy nice) + tomyam (notin special) + rice + 2 jug fruit juice = RM300 for 6 of us.... I think it quite cheap....

I love the bakar instead of steam or fried for fish.... bamboo creature chili also good. but the last time we came the crab a lil bit smelly, but the chili gravy is gooodddd....

if you go to HM Sri Bagan... pls order otak2.... it really good, as your appetizer...

i went to Bagan Lalang once many years ago, have fun collecting the lala at sea shores. I was impressed by one of vege i ate there, it shapes like pucuk paku but more crunchy and taste sweeter than pucuk paku. What was it called and can it still be found in Bagan Lalang?

I think he was talking about goldcoast resort.

I have yet to visit there. Anyway, if it is a resort, just like any resort, just pretend as guest & walk-in-lah..haha..I have walk-in pretending to be guest on many resort and on one occasion, even used the swimming pool!

Hi everyone, I am going to Sepang Bagan Lalang for my sem break trip.
I never went there before and i wonder what activities are really fun at there?
Water activities or something? (for example, jet ski etc...)
I planned to stay for 2 nights at there.
Any recommendation for delicious seafood restaurant?
Thank you so much (:

for me (staying in klang valley) bagan lalang is day trip......the only reason n only time i went there was to have seafood during last ramandhan....a friend of me n her husband treated me n my spouse for seafood there...was great.......from what i always hear the seafood there is cheap compared to other nearby places /klang /malacca etc...

the beach? palm golden resort? shakehead.gif PD > wayyyyyy better........if i have a family trip..maybe i stop there n have food...then continue my journey to PD and overnite there........morning go to any of their beaches............ smile.gif

maybe ive yet to fully explore the place, but im i find the jetty/small fishing village nice...nice to go, snap pictures..say hi to here n there..then go somwhere else smile.gif

i've stayed at 1 chalet at bagan lalang beach resort..
http://resortchaletbaganlalang.blogspot.co...ach-resort.html

it's really cheap and affordable.. only around rm100 per unit..
it's a room with a queen bed, and u can add 2 more single mattresses in the room..
if u don't want to squeeze, u can go for 2 units biggrin.gif

about the beach, the chalets are just opposite the beach so u can easily go to the beach..
it's nice with the sunset view in the evening..

Spang, PD, Melaka, most of the beaches are the same.. all muddy.. I dun even want to dip my leg in the water.. For clearer water, goto Pangkor or Langkawi. and for swimming pool crystal clear water, goto Redang/Perhentian or Tioman

also..beware of sandfly. Alot of it at bagan lalang and morib beach. Some people who are sensitive to it will get infection all over the skin. Take a month to recover. Very itchy also.

Frankly speaking..there is nothing nice to see in bagan lalang. The water is dirty, sands are not fine, no good food. Nothing really nice there that you cannot find in other beautiful beaches like pangkor or tioman. If you just want to go somewhere to RnR then it's fine. You can drive further up to tanjungsepat for good seafood then go back to room for relax. It is also nice to walk into the sea when tide is low. This you cannot find in pangkor or tioman.
