I'd used the P1i more than a year now and usually the problem where the phone can't call out, auto restarts and file browsing lag-ness can usually be repaired by a reformat of the phone. Its kinda tedious but its worth it if your phone really is annoying you. Cheers~

Note on the SMS problem:

Yes this problem has occured to me a few times before, and yes it is annoying. But I only get unreceived SMSes after a auto-restart, and I need to restart the phone to be able to receive messages properly. It happens when the phone has been switched on for too long, a few times I'd confirmed it happening after I left the unit on for 6-7 days.

On the contrary, its the most smooth smartphone I ever used. Definitely outperforms the Nokia N73. Its usually lagless unless you put a 4GB M2 stick on it and browse it when its almost full.

Wow V5 great job to uhlaw! If you all still remember me that is. Great work keeping the thread up for the P1i users. Out on the streets now is our fellow brethen users of the P1i ! 3/5 person I see uses P1i.

I finally needed a reformat, hope my modding skills aren't rusted. I thought the thread would be gone, but hey! Its still active
