hi guys,

here is my probs,
i'm using thinkpad r40, the problem is lately that laptop just failed to shutdown in proper way...
it kept hang at the log off windows... so the best thing to do for me is do a force shut or remove the battery..

but, while im keep doing that, now that laptop cant even start...
i mean that it does start and stuck at log in windows... when i click to my user profile... the windows will show my wallpaper and suddenly it come back to log in window..

i can even see my wallpaper only for less than a second...

so??? what should i do?? can i even start that laptop again??

plz expert out there... help me!!!!!!!!!!! ':cry:'

sorry..i'm not expert here.but have you try to repair your OS bro?
maybe your OS is corrupted...
have you try to log-in by safe mode?

yes, already done that... but still cant log in...

this thinkpad hav the thinkvintage.. when i try to use it and check the event viewer.. it show that error accour with event ID : 1524

now, i cant even on my laptop...
it show the boot screen and suddenly goes to blue screen...

have u try to use safe mode?

Why even bother posting when you cant even look at the few previous post?

Bluescreen after bootscreen is a serious problem , I think formatting will be the best option or you can try use your windows xp to repair your OS but If still cannot It might be some hardware problem.

i hav done many way to troubleshhot dis prob...
searching at google, asking expert and so on...

but the best thing to do now is do a recovery...

i have done that now, and my TP is back to normal like a new one...
i'm fortunate bcoz my data is in my external..

not so many data to lose except my mp3 song... cis...
